Coaching for me has been invaluable. It has been of great benefit and made me focus on what I wanted to achieve professionally. This style of coaching enabled me to make realistic goals and put in place strategies to achieve them. A key component of coaching is to take responsibility for your actions to achieve your goals.

The coaching I received was excellent, it had an extremely positive impact on my life. I was not aware of the unresolved issues I had in my life, and how, subconsciously they were affecting my everyday life, nagging away at the back of my mind. I had deliberately kept them at the back of my mind, not really knowing what to do about them.
At our first meeting Rachel helped to bring these issues into focus, and explained how she could help me work towards resolving at least some of them.
Rachel was always non-judgmental, discreet, and extremely supportive. I felt able to be completely open and honest with her, and myself. She sometimes contacted me between meetings to see how things were going which was a great help.
Rachel was understanding, and helpful, encouraging me to try alternative options. I was never pushed into doing something I didn’t really want to do, or didn’t feel able to do. My coaching sessions came to an end when I felt I had cleared, or was working on the areas that had been identified. I could only liken it to 'clearing my in-tray' in work. That is such a great feeling!!
The coaching was not easy, it takes commitment and hard work from both parties, and if it were easy I would have already dealt with those issues. I know now that if I were to find myself in a similar position again, I could contact Rachel and ask for her help. From the outset Rachel made it clear that the role of a Life Coach is not to give you the answers but to DRAW them from you; what you want to achieve, why and how. The conversations were structured and logical and whilst I was able to explore all ideas and avenues, Rachel kept me focused on my initial goal.

Your coaching sessions have really helped me to realize that my feelings of anxiety when faced with a situation where I would be the centre of attention are not unusual. At the beginning of the year, I had lost by drive and motivation. I felt unappreciated and demoralized in my job. Feeling I had nowhere to turn, I met Rachel. I have worked for a Bank for the last 14 years. During the last 3 years I have desperately wanted to progress through the grades, but something was stopping me – surviving the interview process.
Rachel agreed to coach me. When we met I was rather apprehensive as I had not attended a coaching session before, but immediately Rachel put me at ease. The session lasted an hour and both Rachel and I were totally open and honest with each other. After the first session, I felt so much clearer and I had direction. By the end of the session I knew exactly what my fears were and I had a number of actions to work on before the next session. Four sessions later and I had my interview. During the interview I was calm, collected and confident. I was successful.
The majority of my success is down to Rachel as I don’t think I would ever have had the confidence to go through the process without our coaching sessions.

My first meeting with Rachel helped me to realize that I could put some meaning back in my life. She helped me to focus on the tasks ahead of me and she reassured me that with her help and support that I could work through the unresolved issues at my own pace and try to put my life back in order.

The coaching sessions have been faced positively; they take a great deal of effort and commitment from both sides to make them work. The end result for me was an overwhelming satisfaction that I had achieved all that I set out to do and could put the past behind me and move on with my life. I know that should I ever need to contact Rachel again, I could and she would be there for me.

Rachel’s coaching has been invaluable to me, as it has allowed me to look at the way I undertake every day tasks, whether at work or at home and has helped establish the best method for me to carry tasks out.
As a result, I am far more organized than before. The preparations for last Christmas were a much more enjoyable experience because I was far more organized in my approach – an approach that I will repeat each year from now on.

Last year I became a Team Leader for the company I work for and although I felt I had achieved a great deal over the first 6 months of the role, when it came to my half year review, this was not the case. I felt very low, de-motivated and had the feeling I was not suited to the role and it also began to effect my home life as well.
A colleague of mine had been attending regular coaching sessions with Rachel over the months. She was very sceptical at first but found it to be very rewarding and improved not only her work life but also her home life as well.
I decided to give it a go. Well where do I begin? Rachel is an extremely good listener, she asks lots of probing questions to get the background and find out what you want to get from the sessions. Rachel does not prompt you, she lets you come up with the whole picture and then you find the solution. By doing this your whole self esteem is improves, together with your confidence, you feel you are able to take on the world.
After hearing the recommendations from my colleagues with regards to being coached by Rachel, I decided this was an avenue I’d like to explore. I attend regular coaching sessions with Rachel and from the first session I went away with a purpose and a clear structure of what I want to achieve both in my work environment and at home as I recognized that my work would improve when aspects of my home life were addressed.
By working on both home and work life within my coaching sessions I’ve been able to make more progress in all areas and incorporate assistance where applicable. This has meant that I have more resource available at home by allocating tasks to others and by giving them some responsibility has freed some of my time to pursue activities that I enjoy rather than just actioning tasks for others.
Coaching has given me the encouragement to go forward and realize my capabilities by breaking tasks down into manageable chunks without loosing focus on the end result and goal. I have been able to target many things concurrently and has provided me with a much more positive attitude to my work and home life.
Through coaching I am able to talk through any issues and gain a positive outcome. It helps as you establish your own ideas for your own issues with the guidance and confidence of a coach. I would like to thank Rachel for all her help and support over the past months.

If someone had told me I would be responding like this I would never have believed them. I am such a cynic, but decided to give it a go….oh! What a fool I was to think that they were a waste of time; these sessions virtually changed my life.
I was surprised to say the least that the talking was all done by me; I thought I was going to be told what to do! One question from Rachel and my inner most thoughts and fears spilled on to the table. It wasn’t until that moment that I realized that I wasn’t a happy bunny and my life needed to be put in order.
From our talks it transpired that I was totally bogged down by clutter! – Materially, physically and emotionally. Rachel suggested a fabulous book… I read this from cover to cover and with her guidance set myself timely goals. Rachel coached me to clear one thing at a time and I was amazed that by getting rid of unnecessary items / worries at home, it helped me to organize my working life. My mind was clear and it allowed me to tackle my working day with a positive attitude.
